‘Meat Riding and Hating Is an Illness’ – Coco Gauff Hits Back as Instagram User Calls Her a Clown and Compares Her to Serena Williams
At just 18, Coco Gauff has become one of the players to watch out for in women’s tennis. Her stature has grown leaps and bounds over the past few years. Further, in her maiden Grand Slam main draw appearance, she knocked out Venus Williams in the first round of the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. With that win, she caught everyone’s eye and was set for big things in the coming years.
Gauff is enjoying one of the best seasons of her tennis career. Earlier this year, she reached the summit clash of the French Open in both singles as well as women’s doubles. Additionally, she is in the top 10 of the WTA rankings in both the formats of the game, occupying the 8th and the 5th position in singles and doubles, respectively. Recently, she hit out at a social media user for an inappropriate comment.

Coco Gauff lashes at an Instagram user
Earlier this week, the 18-year-old called out an Instagram user for an inappropriate comment about her. She said, “@wwthomas you got time to comment bs like a clown and not get a job? Hahaha. And you really thought you ate. That’s why nobody hits yo line GOOFY. thx for the follow back tho. get off the couch and touch some grass. meat riding and hating is an illness. I hope you get well soon.”

Gauff didn’t take the person’s comment lightly, who criticized her for not winning any major titles. The Instagram user had earlier commented, “You got time to dress like a clown but not bag any grand slams? Hahaha. And people really thought you were the next Serena.”

Gauff dances in New York
Last week, the American sensation visited the Michael Jackson exhibition in New York. At the event, Gauff showed off some of her wonderful dancing skills. Later, she shared a video of her dance via a story on her official Instagram handle.
